26 Nov The Antony Patrick Jones is now operational and ready for active service.
At 4.30 pm on 26th November 2017 Bridlington’s new Shannon lifeboat “Antony Patrick Jones” became the stations new operational lifeboat.
After months of training beginning at the RNLI headquarters at Poole in Dorset and here at Bridlington, this weekend saw our crew tested by RNLI examiners, who passed the crew and boat ready for service.
Bridlington’s station management and Operations team are extremely grateful for all the time and commitment the crew and their families have had to endure to make the Shannon lifeboat Bridlington’s all weather lifeboat.
Thanks to Andy Brompton for the images.
